Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital is a family-friendly, full service vet that aims to provide compassionate and quality care for companion animals of all breeds and sizes. As pet owners, we understand that each animal has his or her own personality and needs, and we are committed to partnering with you to keep your furry friend healthy for years to come. Since 1972, we’ve been able to grow from our humble beginnings operating out of a home into the state-of-the-art veterinary hospital we have today. Part of this is due to our desire to constantly expand the services we offer and learn about the latest and most innovative treatment methods. We are thankful for the trust you place in us for the optimal care of your pet.
To request an appointment for a pet wellness exam or one of our other services, call (445) 447-3349 or fill out our online contact form.
At Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital, we love to give back to the community and we are well known for our commitment to animal welfare and rescue. We participate in yearly charities, such as our local chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation’s “Bark & Bowl.” We also partner with a number of local animal rescue organizations and regularly donate pet supplies to organizations in need.
In addition to our charitable contributions, we love to offer free education to pet owners. We host a series of Facebook Live events on various topics related to pet health, as well.
We are as committed to animal welfare as we are to our patients.
One of the things that sets us apart from other animal hospitals in Fort Washington is our ability to provide acupuncture and herbal medicine. We are fortunate that we have Dr. Berman on staff, who is certified in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). We gladly take referrals from other hospitals, too! In addition to our Eastern medicine offerings, we happily search for unique and innovative treatments that are non-invasive and pain-free. If your pet has chronic inflammation or is suffering from pain of any sort, we can treat him or her with cold laser therapy. A newer offering at our hospital is Cryotherapy, a non-surgical way to remove bumps and growths!
For any questions about our veterinary services, give us a call at (445) 447-3349. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family member.
