My husband and I completely trust our 4 cats and 2 dogs with the team at Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital. Two of our kitties and one of our pups are older, senior babies who need more specialized care. Our other kitties are adults and our other dog is a puppy. They have all had their recent checkups, bloodwork, medications, and vaccines there. They can be contacted by phone, text, and email. They’re very responsive and patient in how they handle our anxieties and questions regarding our babies’ health. They’re very reasonably priced, have an online store for medications that are affordable, and some of their staff also offer dog training services (which we have used for our new puppy and definitely also recommend!)

Many health conditions in pets don’t show obvious symptoms until they’ve progressed. A wellness exam lets us catch early warning signs, update preventive care, and establish a baseline for your pet’s health before anything goes wrong.

  1. Previous Medical Records: Help us pick up right where you left off. Any vaccines, treatments, or diagnoses gives us a complete picture from day one.
  2. A List Of Your Questions: No question is too small. Jot them down before you arrive so nothing gets forgotten in the moment.
  3. Your Pet’s Current Food: Bring the bag or note the brand and formula. It helps us make sure the diet is the right fit for your pet’s age, breed, and health needs.
  4. A Familiar Blanket Or Toy: A little piece of home goes a long way. A favorite item can help your pet feel calm and comfortable during the exam.

Every pet is different. The vaccines your pet needs depends on their age, lifestyle, travel habits, and overall health. We’ll help you figure out exactly what’s right for them!
