Dr. Orsher is a native of the Delaware Valley, growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clark University in Worcester, MA and her veterinary degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation, Dr. Orsher completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Georgia. Dr. Orsher returned to Montgomery County and joined Ft. Washington Veterinary Hospital in 1983. While available for all patients, Dr. Orsher has a special interest in complex case medical management and surgery.
Dr. Orsher has been married to a fellow veterinarian and board-certified surgeon Dr. Rob Orsher for more than 40 years. Together they have two married children and two grandchildren, all of whom live close by bringing constant joy and wonder to their lives. Drs. Orsher shares their home with two rescue dogs, Mesa from the Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona and Grif from Provodenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Willow, the amazing cat who rescued them.
